I have taken Microsoft advice and set the Security setting of the browser to High .However when I try to download Archive Movies I get a message saying t hat download is prohibited due to my high security setting. I HAVE CHANGED TO MOZILLA FIREFOX and everything is working finely and the download manager is superior to microsoft because it enables downloads to be paused and later resumed. IS ms I Explorer now redundant and due for the TRASH bin?????

As long as you have a firewall, and anti-virus (keeping the definitions updated) and service packs installed, you should be fine. When you start adjusting the security settings it could change the way cookies are handled and jack up your browser (no pun attended).
There are some browsers that run a lot lighter then I.E (opera, neo planet etc).
I can’t complain, Microsoft’s flaws are the sole basis of my employment. If they were open source they probably wouldn’t have as many problems and people would like them better
I have Fahrenheit 9/11 on my hard drive, does that mean I can't post it? :-)
